Sometimes it seems that’s there’s only bad news, but remember there is always good news too–it just takes a little searching. This is my attempt to find it and share it. Just click the links to read the stories–I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
1. Swearing Parrots. Five parrots at an England zoo had to be removed and separated because they were swearing and cussing at guests. I think this is my favorite thing I’ve read in a LONG time. I don’t know if potty mouth parrots qualify as a “good thing”, but this sure made me laugh–which is definitely a good thing.
2. Lindt opens worlds largest chocolate museum. The very fact that this exists, makes life worth living. Did I mention that there is a 30 foot chocolate fountain in the entrance pumping 400 gallons of chocolate? Oh. my. goodness. You all know where to find me for the duration of this pandemic.
3. Baby cow can walk thanks to a wheelchair designed just for her. This is the sweetest thing. Poor Ruby Sue was born with her legs fused together. Thanks to some animal lovers at Safe in Austin Rescue and the incredible designers of a pet mobility company called Walkin Pets–she is now able to walk and get around. Isn’t she just cutest?
4. Baby Yoda hanging out with some California firefighters. Baby Yoda is just what the world needs right now. Isn’t it just so awesome that a sweet 5 year old decided to send one to firefighters in California to keep them company as they battle the infernos going on there? I’ll bet they all feel a lot better now.
5. Bee populations are on the rise. It seems like we’ve heard a lot of grim news in recent years about how our bee population is diminishing, but recently some scientists have seen a rather large increase– with some populations growing as much as 70%. This is good news indeed.
What good things have you heard about this week? Feel free to share anything you find and remember–keep smiling!
