We are a family that loves movies and TV shows. Each week I’ll share what we watched and what we thought about them. I hope it will give you good insight and even some ideas if you’re stuck finding something new.
1. Lost in Space–Season 3. This is a great show on Netflix. It’s now in it’s 3rd season and we just love it–very good story and great action. Our boys haven’t watched it yet, but we plan to let them–I think they will love how the kids are so smart and have such adult like power. It’s rated TV-PG (you can read the parent guide here).
2. Hawkeye. This is a mini-TV series you can watch on Disney + and it is fantastic. It has Jeremy Renner playing Hawkeye (as he has in all the Marvel movies) and Haylee Steinfeld (from Bumblebee movie) as a wannabe hero. The whole story is great with 6 episodes to enjoy. By far, my favorite part was a scene featuring a Marvel Hero musical–complete with Captain America, Iron Man and all the rest singing their hearts out. It’s rated TV-14–there’s some intense action throughout (you can read the parent guide here).
3. The Book of Boba Fett. This is a spin off of the super popular show, The Mandalorian--you can watch both on Disney +. This has Tameura Morrison playing Boba Fett (as he did in the Star Wars movies). There are now 3 episodes to watch with more coming each week. So far, it’s been pretty good. I don’t feel as strongly about it as I did The Mandalorian, but it’s ok. I like that they give the backstory on how he gets out of the sarlacc pit and are also giving some more story about various characters–like Jabba the Hutt’s family and the Sand People. It’s rated TV-14–there is some intense action (you can read the parent guide here).
I would love to hear our opinions and any suggestions you may have of what to watch.
