We are a family that loves movies and TV shows. Each week I’ll share what we watched and what we thought about them. I hope it will give you good insight and even some ideas if you’re stuck finding something new.
1. A Haunting in Venice. This is a great movie based on the Agatha Christi novel, Halloween Party. Kenneth Branagh plays a fantastic Hercule Poirot. He is living in Venice when a friend convinces him to come to a seance in a home in which she believes there is a real haunting. When someone is murdered, the others believe it is supernatural, however he is not easily fooled by the parlor tricks and seeks to find the real killer. There are some dark moments and a few jump scares that have a horror movie type feel, but it’s really good and we loved it. It’s rated PG-13 (you can read the parent guide here).
I would love to hear our opinions and any suggestions you may have of what to watch.
