We are a family that loves movies and TV shows. Each week I’ll share what we watched and what we thought about them. I hope it will give you good insight and even some ideas if you’re stuck finding something new.
1.The Ranch. This is a sitcom on Netflix that came out in 2016 and ran until 2020. There are 4 seasons of 20 episodes each. It’s about a former pro football player, Colt Bennett (Ashton Kutcher) who comes home to help on the ranch with his father, Beau Bennett (Sam Elliot) and brother, Rooster (Danny Masterson). It revolves around their daily lives and is really fun and enjoyable. It’s rated TV-MA and has a lot of foul language and adult situations.
2. Lift. This is the new action-comedy movie on Netflix starring Kevin Hart. He is a professional art thief and has a team of highly trained specialists. When one of the team is caught, they are employed by Interpol to steal $500 million in gold bullion from a terrorist group. It’s a great action movie with a lot of great humor too. We all really enjoyed it. It’s rated PG-13 (you can read the parent guide here).
3. The Daniel Craig 007’s. We finally let our boys watch the Daniel Craig 007 movies. I’ve always been hesitant because of the overabundance of sexual inuendo. But this particular series is pretty mild overall. They are my favorites and my boys loved them all.
I would love to hear your opinions and any suggestions you may have of what to watch.
