I don’t know what kind of pizza you eat at your house, but at mine– it’s pepperoni 99.9% of the time. I like pepperoni ok, but sometimes Super Rockstar and I like to have our own kind–lots of meats and occasionally a veggie or two. The agony of picking out the parts the boys don’t like has made me realize that making personal pizza’s is just the thing to make us all happy.

The Ingredients:
Divide the dough: I like to make my own dough (I love Pioneer Woman’s My Favorite Pizza Dough), but you can certainly purchase ready made dough at the store.
Roll it out into 8″ circles and place on a nonstick baking sheet:
Prepare a variety of toppings.
Add the sauce: I also make my own sauce, but the store bought versions work just fine.
Add the toppings. When I made the plan to do this–I had this vision of having all the assorted toppings in containers and having my boys roll out their own dough, put the sauce on and then choose their toppings as I ever lovingly guided them in pizza making skills. However, it was “one of those” nights where everyone was grumpy and hangry–so I ended up playing short order cook and made each one to order. In hind sight–I think my “vision” may have been setting the bar a bit high for our household.
Add the cheese. Don’t be skimpy.
Bake at 500 degrees on the bottom rack of your oven for about 10 minutes.
Place each pizza on a plate and cut into slices.
Voila! Everyone gets to enjoy eating their own personalized pizza!
