I’ve been following the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan for several years now. They have several cookbooks with meals that fit their eating plan as well as snacks and drinks. If you’re not familiar with them, you can check them out by clicking the link. One of my favorite snacks is their Super Food Chews. They’re full of healthy ingredients such as Collagen, Whey Protein Powder and MCT oil. Plus, they’re super easy to make and delicious–they taste kind of like Tootsie Rolls.
- ½ Cup Whey Protein Powder
- ½ Cup Collagen
- ¼ Cup Cocoa
- 2 Tbsp. Stevia blend sweetener (I use Pyure)
- Pinch of salt
- 2 tsp melted coconut oil (or 4 tsp MCT oil)
- 2-3 Tbsp cold water
- Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl
- Add oil and mix well
- Add Water--1/2 Tbsp at a time mixing well after each. (don't add too much--just until dough clings together)
- Hand mix into a ball
- Break off 1" size pieces and roll into little balls and place in storage container
- Keep refrigerated

2. Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
3. Add the oil and mix well.
4. Add the water 1/2 Tbsp at a time. This is one of those things–that too much is NOT good. Mix in between really well until it all just sort of clings together. Too much water makes a sticky messy goo–and that’s not what you want.
5. Squish it all together into a ball and then break off 1″ pieces. Roll these into balls or even Tootsie Roll shapes and place in a storage container.
6. Enjoy! They are best kept chilled in the refrigerator. These are perfect for a little chocolate fix any time you need it.
