Every once in a while, I come across a life hack that I feel the need to pass along. I’m not sure where this one came from–I just know I’ve been doing it for years and thought it was an important one to share with the group.
In the mad rush between Halloween and Christmas, many of us still like to continue celebrating all things fall and keep Thanksgiving as it’s own separate holiday. But, since it’s such a short amount of in between –spending a lot on decorations seems kind of excessive. This tip will change your life.
Remember those Halloween pumpkins that you paid a small fortune for and then spent all that time carving? Don’t throw them away just yet. I know, I know–they’re starting to look a little “wilty”, but just trust me. Walk to your front porch right now. Place your hands on both sides of the Jack-O-Lantern. Pick it up. Turn it around ( so that the face or whatever you carved is now facing the house). Set it back down. SHAZAM! It’s now a fall gourd–Thanksgiving decorating DONE!

You can do this with any of your plastic or ceramic jack-o-lantern decorations that you have around your house that you’ve been enjoying all October.
