We are a family that loves movies and TV shows. Each week I’ll share what we watched and what we thought about them. I hope it will give you good insight and even some ideas if you’re stuck finding something new.
1. Space Jam: A New Legacy. This movie is exactly what you would expect it to be–goofy looney tunes characters mixed with terrible acting from a pro athlete. That being said–my boys loved it. It’s just the silly sort of movie they enjoy every now and then, and even though I didn’t get caught up in the plot and found myself rolling my eyes a time or two–I appreciated that it is a very clean movie. It’s rated PG–I think there may have been one or two uses of a curse word, but other than that it was harmless with a good story line.
2. Black Widow. We took the boys to see this on the big screen ( I’m talking GIGANTIC) and it was SO worth it. Great action, good story line, some comedy and the whole movie was just great. I highly recommend it and especially recommend seeing it at a movie theater. It’s rated PG-13 and had some violence and foul language (you can read the parent info here)–it’s just fine for tween/teen.
3. Wrath of Man. Ah, we just can’t get enough of Jason Statham movies. In this one, he is a criminal of sorts and his son gets killed by another group of criminals. He then seeks his revenge. Lots of fight scenes, shoot outs, blood, curse words and violence–and he, of course, saves the day. In other words–it’s what you would expect and enjoy in a Jason Statham movie. It’s Rated R–so not for kiddos.
I would love to hear your opinions and any suggestions you may have of what to watch.
