The general rule for Taco Salad is to put all you would normally enjoy on a taco, mix it in a big bowl, add extra lettuce and BOOM! Done.
Taco Salad

Ingredients
- 1 head iceburg lettuce chopped
- 1 Tomato--chopped
- ¼-1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 avocado chopped
- 1 can black beans or kidney beans
- 1 can of corn
- Tortilla Chips
- Salsa
- Sour Cream
- Guacamole
Instructions
- Mix everything together in a big bowl
- Place tortilla chips on a plate or bowl
- Add a generous portion of the salad on top of chips
- Add Salsa, Sour Cream, and Guacamole

6. Enjoy!
Taco Salad is always a favorite for my family because it’s a salad (sounds healthy), but it has lots and lots of good stuff like chips and cheese in it. I just tell my kids it’s like nachos–all mixed together in a bowl. Totally works.
