Recipe–Taco Salad

The general rule for Taco Salad is to put all you would normally enjoy on a taco, mix it in a big bowl, add extra lettuce and BOOM! Done.

Ingredients
  • 1 head iceburg lettuce chopped
  • 1 Tomato--chopped
  • ¼-1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 avocado chopped
  • 1 can black beans or kidney beans
  • 1 can of corn
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Salsa
  • Sour Cream
  • Guacamole
Instructions
  1. Mix everything together in a big bowl
  2. Place tortilla chips on a plate or bowl
  3. Add a generous portion of the salad on top of chips
  4. Add Salsa, Sour Cream, and Guacamole

3. Place Tortilla chips on your plate or in your bowl.

4. Add a generous portion of the salad on top of chips.

5. Add Salsa, Sour Cream, and Guacamole and mix all together.

6. Enjoy!

Taco Salad is always a favorite for my family because it’s a salad (sounds healthy), but it has lots and lots of good stuff like chips and cheese in it. I just tell my kids it’s like nachos–all mixed together in a bowl. Totally works.
