Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 8 oz can of tomato paste
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-15 oz cans of kidney beans drained and rinced
  • 1/4 cup corn meal
  • Shredded cheese for serving
  • Sour Cream for serving
  • Corn Chips for serving

Instructions
 

  • Mix garlic salt and ground beef.
  • Brown the meat.
  • Drain excess fat
  • Add tomato paste, water, chili powder, cumin, salt, italian seasoning.
  • Stir together well
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low
  • Simmer for 1 hour.
  • Add water as needed if it becomes dry
  • Add corn meal and stir together well.
  • Add the beans and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Serve with shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream and corn chips.
